Driving home after a fat dab? Not the best idea.
Need a better highdea? Take a Lyft.
The fine folks at Lyft, CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation), & the Marijuana Industry Group have partnered up to bring Colorado’s cannabis consumers discounted rides through their 320 Movement program. The programs simple message is “A Movement to Plan a Ride Before You’re High.”
By simply entering your phone number on the Lyft 320 Movement form, riders will receive 32% off (up to $5!) on their next ride!
The message is simpler: enjoy your high but don’t endanger those around you while doing so. The choice is easy: leave your car keys in your pocket and take a safe ride home if your eyes are too red for the road.
“Helping reduce the number of Coloradans driving high is an important and long-term goal for Lyft,” says Lyft Colorado general manager Gabe Cohen. “We are excited to accelerate our work with CDOT to help educate the community about the dangers of driving high, and we are absolutely committed to continue to provide a safe and affordable alternative through Lyft.” [Westword]
We can’t echo this sentiment enough. If you find yourself buzzed off that Rocky Mountain High, please do the responsible thing and do not put yourself and others in danger!
Instead? “Puff, puff, pass the driving to Lyft!”
